Iranian Intelligence has not Allowed South Azerbaijani Minors to Participate in Festival
Araz News: Iranian Ministry of Intelligence (Ettelaat) has not allowed South Azerbaijani minors group to participate in festival in Istanbul.
Tabriz based minors group “Lachin” performs traditional Azerbaijani dance and music. Lachin is an NGO.
The group was planning to participate in 20th Children of Turkic World Festival which is held from 28th May 2014 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Iranian regime considers Azerbaijani culture and civilization as a threat for Iranian statehood which is based on Persian ethnical identity. Islamic republic of Iran does everything possible to restrict and inactivate Turkic entity in Iran.
