An imprisoned trade unionist is exiled to Ghezel Hesar Prison
Shahrokh Zamani, the political prisoner in ward 12 of Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj has been exiled to Ghezel Hesar Prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shahrokh Zamani, the imprisoned trade unionist has been exiled to Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj spontaneously on Tuesday 11th of March.
He had been protesting against the authorities when they were closing the library of the ward and along with Rasoul Badaghi were transferred to the solitaries along on February 15th. They were also tried in a court in Karaj on February 22nd on charges of disturbing the order of the prison.
Shahrokh Zamani has said to other prisoners that he will start hunger strike.
He had been arrested along with Mohammad Jarrahi in Tabriz in January 2012 to serve his 11 years imprisonment sentence.
Shahrokh Zamani, the workers’ rights activists had been arrested on June 8, 2011 by the intelligence agents and released on the 200 million Thomans bail on October 19, 2011.
