Common Turkic History Textbook Is Ready
Araz News: In an interview to Anadolu News Agency (AA) of Turkey, Turkic Council Secretary General Azerbaijani diplomat Ramil Hasanov told common Turkic history textbook is ready and will be taught in 8th class in member state’s schools from 2016. He added after confirmation by the member state’s parliaments and presidents the textbook will be put in member state’s curriculum.
He also told other projects like common TV channel and student exchange program are to be executed.
Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov also added Hungry may be a future member of the council because Hungry is rooted to the European Hun Empire which was a Ural-Altaic Empire.
Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Azerbaijan and Turkey are Turkic Council’s member states. Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are taking part in the council’s meetings and are to become full members.
Turkic Council was established in 2006 upon the offer of Kazak president Noor Sultan Nazarbayev.
