Araz News: South Azerbaijani sources report South Azerbaijani activists have visited European Union parliamentarians and informed them about problems in South Azerbaijan.

They have discussed topics like situation of South Azerbaijani political prisoners, Lake Urmia disaster and Iranian regime’s discriminative policy toward South Azerbaijan. Reportedly the parliamentarians have promised to pay effort to bring South Azerbaijan question to public opinion.

Mr. Amir Mardani, member of a South Azerbaijani student union named AZOH, and Mrs. Ayda Bilgin, South Azerbaijani women rights activists have had separate visits with parliamentarians Mr. Klaus BUCHNER, Mr. Tunne KELAM and Mrs. Cornelia ERNST, on 1st December 2014.
