We Fight For Federalism in Iran: Balochi Organization
Araz News: Selahaddin Faruqi leader of the Balochi armed organization Jaish-Al-Adl gave an exclusive reportage to the Al-Arabiya news agency Persian service. In the reportage he gave explanations about the group’s goals.
In the reportage Mr. Faruqi insists that they do not carry out a sectarian fight and they oppose Shiite-Sunni conflict. He stated the group is fighting for a federalist system in Iran and that they struggle for rights of Balochi people and Sunni minority as well as the other ethnic and religious entities in Iran.
Mr. Faruqi said that the Iranian regime is based on only Persian Shiite identity and it is decades the regime oppresses all other cultural, linguistic, ethnical and religious features in the country.
He dismissed the allegations of relation between his organization and extremist terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda.
The group is fighting against Islamic regime in Balocistan Province in southeastern Iran. In the recent months the group carried out dozens of armed attaches against Iranian forces.
