Thousands of Persian Internet users have attacked, slandered and insulted the website of UNESCO for congratulating people with Nevruz (Oğuz) Feast in Turkish language. “Nevruz holiday is belongs to Persians, if any organization is willing to spread a congratulatory message, it must be in Persian,” said the racists. The same event also took place in the Telegram social network. The racists made racist and insulting comments under UNESCO’s post. Persian racist attacks on the Internet have been observed many times in the past. The racists even targeted world-famous figures like football star Lionel Messi. The UN’s scientific, educational and cultural organization UNESCO official website, congratulated people with Nowruz Feast, particularly Iran, India, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Iraq.
