Araz News: Isa Kalantari, Head of Lake Urmia Rescue Team said without Lake Urmia Azerbaijan will not be alive.

In a press conference in Sharif Technical University of Tehran Mr. Kalantari Added:

Matter is not the lake itself but 5 million people who leave around the lake.

Even in worst conditions in the history Lake Urmia never dried.

The southern part of lake is actually died and only can be transformed to a wild life park.

Cost of the rescue operation of Lake Urmia is between 5 and 7 billion dollars.
