Araz News: Mr. Masoud Sepehri Nia the South Azerbaijani singer is banned from performing by Iranian police because he and his Barish (Peace) music group took part in Turkvision Song Contest in Kazan, Tataristan.

Mr. Masoud Sepehri Nia has stated in his Facebook page that he was called from East Azerbaijan police headquarter and told that he is banned from performing.

The TURKVISION Song Contest was launched by TMB TV which has been carrying out projects to strengthen ties among Turkic peoples through various cultural and artistic projects since its establishment. The TURKVISION Song Contest has become the symbol of peace, brotherhood and friendship among Turkic peoples.

Group Barish (Peace) from South Azerbaijan took part in the contest and took 8^th place.
