Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Freedom Square, gave a speech on the of Baku’s 100th anniversary.

Erdogan: “Their sacrifice and a glorious saga will be explained with pride from one generation to other, their courage was a sign of eternal brotherhood of Turkey and Azerbaijan.
We celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Caucasian Islamic Army and the Azerbaijani brothers and sisters. We are also acknowledged by the saints of our martyrs and by our brotherhood. Here I see the benefit of drawing a truth right now. September 1918 was not an ordinary event in the land we are now. The struggle that was given here a century ago is a symbol of our brotherhood and of the unity and solidarity of our friendship.
