Ibrahim Nuri Was Released from Ahar Prison After 12 Days of Hunger Strike
Araz News:South Azerbaijan civil right activist Mr. Ibrahim Nuri was released on bail from Ahar prison after suffering from 12 days of hunger on Aug ,08, 2016.
Ibrahim Nuri has gone on hunger strike because of demanding his unconditional and immediate release.
According to Araz News agency , his health is deteriorating on the 12th day of his strike as he is no refusing to intake water ,despite the fact , Ahar prison ‘s authorities had refused to send him to the infirmary.
Mr. Nouri was arrested by Ettelaat of Ahar along with some other activists (Akbar Jahangirzadeh ) for allegedly preparing to launch a protest against the “Tarh NO” Newspaper and encouraging people to protest against the racism and propaganda against the regime .
Ibrahim Nuri is a student of English Literature and he has already been detained for civil right activities. He was arrested on charges of propaganda against the system and sentenced to 10 months imprisonment and suspended for five years in 2009.
