Araz News: A Conference as crimes of Armenians in Iran was held in the capital of Turkey at Hilton hotel on On 23rd of April.

In this conference well-known persons from Turkey, Europe and other regions participated. The conference was held by the Azerbaijan Cultural Association. The speakers expressed the Turks massacred by Armenians and Iranian and Russian support for Armenians.

The conference began with the national anthems of Turkey and Azerbaijan. Professor Jamil Onal the Secretary of the Azerbaijan Cultural Society welcomed guests and begin with a lecture about the unrealistic claim of Armenian genocide which is promoting among the various governments.

Then Prof. Dr. Yunca Anzaroglu the Faculty member of Hacettepe University submitted his articles about the issue of crimes committed by Armenians in Iran. He expressed to the massacre of Azerbaijani Turks in the cities of Urmia and Salmas by Armenians and Assyrians in February-June, 1918.

After that, Prof Haidar Chakmak professor of international relations at Gazi university gave a speech about the Persian government policy toward the Turks who live in Iran and the alliance between Iran -Armenia.

Dr. Bahadir Bumion was the third speaker of the conference. He focused on Turks oppressed in Karabakh and mentioned the supports of the Islamic Republic of Iran from Armenia in the genocide of Azerbaijani Turks in Karabakh. Also, some of the guests expressed their opinions about this issue.

It should be noted that Mr. Fereydoun Parviz Nia Secretary of the World Congress of the Azerbaijanis, Mr. Ahmed Hassan Zadeh the head of Azerbaijani Community of Cologne-Germany, Dr. Nuraddin Garavi the managing editor of “ANADILI’ magazine, Mr. Nurullah Moradi representative of the Qashqai Turks in Iran and many other well-known cultural and political characters from Turkey and other region attended at the conference. The conference was attended by more than 250 people and ended at 14:30.

After the conference, some participants and Azerbaijanis gathered in front of the Iranian Embassy in Ankara to protest Iran’s regime policy in support of Armenia. Azerbaijan national activists placed a Black bouquet of flowers in front of the embassy and released a statement to the press.
