Condemning the terrorist attacks in Ankara, Istanbul, Brussels, Baghdad and Lahore “Whoever killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind.”

(The Holy Quran, Surah Al-Ma’idah, Verse 32) The scourge of terrorism deprived many human lives and attacked to most of fundamental freedoms. In addition, territorial integrity and security of different countries are faced by terrorist criminal invasions.

Nowadays terrorism kills countless victims in the Middle East and even Europe. Terrorism turned from a national threat to the international threat in a new era and may endanger international peace and security by expanding it.

Most recent terrorist attacks occurred in Ankara and Istanbul (Turkey), Brussels (Belgium), Baghdad (Iraq) and Lahore (Pakistan) respectively by the terrorist groups of Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK) dependent on the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), Tehrik-I-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Dozens of innocent people were slaughtered in these countries by the mentioned brutal actions. We, a community of Turkish lawyers of Iran, declare our disgust at the actions of terrorist groups: In addition to the different nations of the world, especially the peoples of the Middle East, governments and international organizations should attempt more to prevent and drive away any terrorist motivations and eventually eliminate the roots of terrorism. Otherwise, the scourge of terrorism will apply more suffering and disasters to the rest of the world, especially the Middle East by justifying the brutal actions.

Therefore, we, a community of Turkish lawyers of Iran, say that silence or double behavior against any terrorist attacks and justify their actions is not right in terms of human and legality. Therefore, we ask regional and trans-regional governments adopt a common position on the definition of terrorism and effectively fight it.
