Suicide rises among young people in South Azerbaijan
A suicide was recorded in Marand, South Azerbaijan. The third suicide case in Azerbaijan in two days. A 16-year-old teenager hung himself on March 1 after an argue with a family in a Tazakend Akhund village. The young man threatened to commit suicide after discussing with his grandfather. After leaving home, the young man ended his life by hanging himself in one of the gardens surrounding the village. On Wednesday, three young girls in the cities of Tabriz and Zencan tried to commit suicide by throwing themselves over the bridge. The girls who were exposed to severe bodily injuries were delivered to the hospitals and kept under medical supervision. The increase in the suicide rate among young people led to the fuss of the Azerbaijani families in the South. Experts say that some of the main causes of suicides in Iran are despair, family conflicts, drug addiction, unemployment, poverty, etc.
