Iran Security forces did not allow movie screening the movie called “Gemici” which was filmed in Urmia Lake and near the lake. The movie screening was 29 November 18.00 in Devrimci Sineması as it announced before. In addition to this security force block the movie screening because of unkown reason. The forcing the cultural activities seen many Azerbaijani cities, especially in Erdebil. The cultural activities that made by Azerbaijani Turks, Persians has a intolerance. In 30 October Erdebil Culture and Islam affairs agency canceled the Picture gallery which organized by Turk activist and artist Mustafa Pravin in Erdebil. The movie “Gemici” is about kids and teenagers at the same time the movie focused on the ecologic diasester in Urmia Lake and round. This movie shooted by director Majid Ismaili Parsa. The movie tell a story that a young boy named Hasan is trying to rescue his father’s ship in Urmia lake and the difficulties of this problem. Most of the scenes was shooted in ship. “Gemici” movie participate over than 20 international and national movie festival including Brooklyn Film Festival and recieved many prizes.
