DISSOLUTION OF THE TURKIC FRACTION OF IRAN’S PARLIAMENT WAS CONFIRMED
Araz News:Mr. Shahabaddin Bimegdar, the individual from Iranian parliament and a main Turkic Parliamentary Fraction has advised media that because of “additional affectability” to the expression “Turk” in Iran, the Turkic Fraction of Iranian Parliament was compelled to disband.
Mr. Bimegdar the MP from Tabriz said: “Turk fraction members don’t have any official meeting since the establishment and Turk fraction doesn’t support by central government.”He added that we can focus to t establish the Northwestern Fraction.
The expression “North-West” is a term the Persian administration uses to allude to Azerbaijani territories with a specific end goal to avoid utilizing the name of Azerbaijan or Turk.
It should be noted that the representative of the people of Tabriz called for the formation of the fraction of the Turk areas “to address the problems of the population” and once again announced that the Iran parliamentary board of directors prevented the activities of this fraction.
Mr. Shahabaddin Bimegdar added, some say its name is Northwest Fraction, but this name does not include all the Turks of Iran. Now in Quchan, Shirvan and Dragas, and elsewhere, the number of Turks is not low. Half of Anzali and Tehran is also a Turk. ”
Then again, Mr. Gazipur one of the establishing members from city of Urmia has denied his partner’s assertions and guaranteed that the Turkic Fraction has not been broken down.
The Turkic Fraction was built up with roughly 110 members of parliament on Oct 30, 2016 with an idea to advance of the Turkic dialect and culture and social economy of Azerbaijan and other Turk region of Iran.
“Dariush Arjomand” and “Ahmad Najafi”, two well-known figures in Iran’s cinema, also announced in interviews that there is not “Turk” in Iran, but “Azeri”.
These people by repeating the Pan- Ariaeist racist views said: “The language of Turks in Iran was originally Farsi, and under the pressure of the Turks and Mongols they had been forced to quit using Persian language, these people believe that Turkish language should be eradicated in Iran and should be replaced by Persian language.”
In the past 100 years, anti-Turkic policies have always been applied against the Turk citizens by the Iranian government and Persian citizens, and Turkish citizens in Iran are deprived of their ethnic and linguistic rights.
The pressure of the Iranian government to dissolve the fraction of the Turk region of Iran is under the command of the Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei who sated that the fraction must be dismantled.
