Critical and serious health condition of Rasoul Razavi after two week hunger strike in prison
Araz News: South Azerbaijan National Activist Mr. Rasoul Razavi who is serving 1-year imprisonment term in prison of Tabriz city of South Azerbaijan is in very bad health condition after two week hunger strike in prison.
The main reason of hunger strike of Mr. Rasoul Razavi is protesting to the unjust ruling of the court of Tabriz. He points that a sentence of six months’ imprisonment was granted parole by the court, however, his case is uncertain
According to Araz News Agency, he suffers from critical and serious health condition after two week hunger strike in prison and prison officials didn’t transfer him to hospital.
Rasoul Razavi was arrested on 12 Nov 2015 after Anti-Racism protests (FITILE program).
Also, South Azerbaijan National Activist Rasoul Razavi had been arrested also in 2013, following his civil activities, and charged with propaganda against the regime, and sentenced to one-year imprisonment.
On Friday, 11th July, during the “Quds Day” demonstrations, civil activists in Tabriz showed their support for China’s Turk Muslims in Uighur by holding placards and banners in this regard. Also in a similar protest in the city of Ahar, two other activists, Ebrahim Noori and Milad Azimi had been arrested and interrogated for hours by the security forces.
