Araz News:  A research institute with the name of Tabriz Started its activity officially in the capital turkey on the 2 ^th of April 2016.

The ceremony was held with the presence of university professors, representatives of civil society and various cultural activists. The ceremony was started with the national anthem of Turkey.

At the beginning of the ceremony,Dr. Mohammad Reza Heyat the  faculty member of Ankara university and director of the Institute gave the keynote speech about the purpose of the establishment of the Tabriz Institute in Ankara. He also pointed to the necessity of mutual knowledge between the nations in the region such as cultural interaction. He noted that the main goal of the Tabriz Institute to carry out various projects in order to introduce Iranian-Turks culture.

Mr. Jamil Onal the Secretary of the Cultural Association of Azerbaijanis in Turkey gave a speech., He stated that Tabriz is not only the name of a city, but also the symbol of Iranian Turks identity.

After finishing the speeches, Sadi Somuncuoglu the former ministers of Turkey and Mr. Jamil Onal the Secretary of the Cultural Association of Azerbaijanis in Turkey opened Tabriz Institute Study-research center.
