Araz News: The following video depicts Tractor Sazi team members along with fans rushing the field in celebration at the end of the game. Team members were wrongfully told that Sepahan had tied in a simultaneous match, putting Tractor Sazi in the lead in the league. The euphoria quickly turned to anger when team members realized that Sepahan had won and that Tractor Sazi placed second in the league.

This would have been the Azerbaijani national team’s first Iranian Pro League championship. Many are now suspecting foul play by plain-clothed government agents members of the Iranian Football Federation.
