Araz news: Ali Daei, The best scorer in the history of world football, presented as ambassador of Lake Urmia to UNESCO. He said:”I am concerned about drying the beautiful lake. And ignoring of Authorities because drying of Lake Urmia.

According to Mehr News Agency, Ali Daei, travel to participate in a charity football match in Urmia, and he attended in Ulduz program with Mohamad Panjali on Wednesday night.

Ali Daei, who had been speaking in Azerbaijani Turkish in the program, spoke with honor of their ancestral nobility and stated that he is proud to be Azerbaijani. He stressed that, we had come to sightsee and swim in Lake Urmia in childhood with my family and all family had an interest in  to see the city of Urmia. However, I am not having the opportunity to visit there in my coaching career.

He also said about the current state of the Urmia Lake:” During Childhood that we come to the Urmia lake where conditions are very good, but unfortunately this beautiful lake has dried up at present”.

In this program Ali Daei complained to the proper authorities because of drying of the second biggest saline lake in the  world.

Finally, he said The neglect of the authorities cause the drying of Lake Urmia.

Ali Daei was  born in Ardebil. He scored 109  goals in a football game in his  workbook, and he is the best scorer in the history of world football.
