In the western region of Iran three soldiers lost their lives in a clash between the Revolutionary Guards and armed group fighters, who were indicated to be member of the ISIS. According to Tasnim News Agency, Commander of the Revolutionary Guards Land Forces Brigadier General Muhammad Pakpur said, “In the morning there was a gunfight with  21 members of ISIS, who have been followed for several days by Najaf Eşref Headquarters in the west of the country. Indicating that 16 persons were taken into custody during the operation, Pakpur said that two persons escaped from the conflict area and several others were killed. Pakpur, who did not explain where the clash took place, added that during the operation three Revolutionary Guards soldiers lost their lives.
