Araz News: Miss. Safia Gharebaghi  one of the well-known South  Azerbaijani  activist was arrested by the Zanjan information officers  known as ‘ETELAAT’ at the time of leaving her home on Tuesday, 18 July 2017.

According to Araz news quoted from oyrenci-sesi ,a few hours after his detention of Miss. Safia Gharebaghi  ,the intelligence ministry police  came and inspected  her house.Iran’s Intelligence Ministry seized her Laptops, multiple files, books and personal documents.

Thus far, the whereabouts of the activist Miss. Safia Gharebaghi remains unknown and there is no information about the causes of his arrest has been released.

According to her husband Mr. Roozbeh Sadati, she was charged with propaganda against the regime, disturbing public opinion and publishing lies.

It should be noted that Miss. Safia Gharebaghi is from Zanjan city who is an Azerbaijani activist and researcher and activist in the field of women’s rights. She is also a blogger who has been arrested several times by Iranian intelligence agents in recent years.
