Araz News: The  second conference of granting the prizes to the Serving to the Turkic world was held by ‘ULKU OCAKLAR’ (grey wolves) in Istanbul on Sunday. In 24 different categories of service providers to the Turkic world were taken thanks and appreciation.

In the service to the geography of South Azerbaijan Dr. Chehregani was selected. At this conference, He was honored with a plaque donation because of his efforts to National Awakening Movement of South Azerbaijan.

Memorial plaque in the absence of Dr. Chehregani was awarded to Mr. Majid Makuyi one of the members of the GAMOH (Southern Azerbaijan National Awakening Movement) organization.

At the conference, President of ‘ULKU OCAKLAR’ with the speech says thanks and appreciation of all those involved in the maintenance and expansion of equality and brotherhood in the Turkic world.

Mahmudali Chehregani is an Azerbaijani separatist leader, born in Shabestar, East Azarbaijan Province, Iran, in 1958. He founded (1995) the Southern Azerbaijan National Awakening Movement (GAMOH).

Chehregani was a professor of linguistics at Tabriz University.
