Araz News: Head of Water Resources of Osku city informed people about to begin operations of transferring waste water of Tabriz to Aji Chay River for saving Lake Urmia

According to the report of The Public Relations Department of Regional Water

Of East Azarbaijan Mr. Ahmad Mosai, Valves channels of diversion dam of Shahid Sardari  been blocked and transferring waste water of Tabriz city  to the Lake Urmia  via Aji Chay river are performed.

He stated that any water harvesting by farmers for agricultural purposes and drinking in the path will be prevented.

Experts say, transferring  wastewater  of Tabriz city  to Lake Urmia is one of the Ways to save the lake Urmia .
