Dear Azerbaijani Turk Nations

Since the Qajar Empire has been extinct with the British sedition and Pahlavi government was dominated Iran.  During that period, the policy of assimilation against non-Persian nations was adopted.

For more than 90 years, Persian politics have been imposed by the regime on the people. This policy has become an integral part of the Iranian regime. So that today the Iranian regime approved a law against those teachers who has dialects and regime has prevented their recruitment in the Iran’s education system.

Despite this educational force, South Azerbaijani Turk nation with courage and bravery continue their struggle and national resistance against the policy of ethnic cleansing. The South Azerbaijani Turk nation will continue their Struggle to gain the right to education in native language.

In South Azerbaijan, our mother tongue is forbidden, and our children are forced to speak Persian in schools. It is a national duty and conscience for every Azerbaijan Turk nation to confront with  this cultural massacre and exploitation.

As Azerbaijan national movement organizations, we are the signatories of this statement to protest the cultural assassination of non- Persian people by Iran Regime during 90 years.

The Turkish language school is our natural right.
